Planned closures for ahead of Sunday

Preston Police have announced a number of road closures ahead of this weekend’s Remembrance Sunday parade.

The map above shows the routes affected. Closures are in place from 9am until 1pm with the roads displayed in red. This also means that access to certain areas  will not be possible. This is displayed in blue.  The diversion route is shown in green.

A statement read: “Please beware that there are several temporary road closures in place (as show in red) in the city centre this Sunday between 9am & 1pm for the Remembrance Sunday Parades

“This means that access to Friargate, Anchor Court, Orchard St, Glovers Court and the length of Fishergate to Cannon St (as shown in blue) will not be possible and if you would usually use these areas for parking / deliveries alternative arrangements will be required.”

• Fishergate – junction Church Street to its junction with Cheapside
