Preston pauses on Remembrance Sunday to remember the fallen

Preston paused to pay its respects to those who lost their lives in conflict.

The Flag Market was the location for the Remembrance Day service.

Dignitaries paraded from the Markets around by the Town Hall before pausing on the Flag Market shortly before 11am on Sunday (13 November).

The Vicar of Preston Father Timothy Lipscomb led the remembrance service as representatives from the Armed Forces paraded by.

Paul Melling was there to capture the solemn moments as the city paused to reflect.
