A brand new live music venue has opened in Preston City Centre.
LiVe is a 500 capacity space located inside Preston Guild Hall inside the recently refurbished foyer.
The role of Head of Programming will be handled by Daniel Morris who has left his previous role at The Ferret on Fylde Road.
A statement from LiVe said: “We are aiming for a multi-genre venue and one which encourages local artists, musicians and bands to be able to showcase their talent.
“With a brand new stage and 20k sound and lighting rig LiVe is set to be the north-west’s, premier live music venue.
“We have a large open air roof terrace, overlooking the city’s grade 1 listed buildings, culminating in one hell of a view!”
The venue has craft beers with a rotating number of options for those who return. There are also plans to install an exclusive LiVe IPA brand at the bar.
MORE: White Lies coming to Preston
LiVe recently unveiled their first big name act since opening their doors.
White Lies will perform an intimate show at the venue as the only north-west show on their UK tour.
The opening is the latest in the rejuvenation of Preston Guild Hall following the purchase by Simon Rigby for £1 in 2014.
