We’ve had a look inside the newly renovated McDonald’s at Riversway in Preston.
The fast food restaurant at the docks reopened today after being closed for approximately one month and was the 500th restaurant to undergo the changes that included ordering on a touch screen and tablets installed to allow people to surf the web.
You can read the original article about the closure here.
The changes also include substantial alterations to the play area that parents and kids across Preston will be familiar with.

McDonaldâs franchisee Nigel Dunnington said: âWeâre really looking forward to re-opening the transformed restaurant.
âTechnology has a huge role to play in all walks of life, including our customersâ eating out experience, and the new technology weâre introducing recognises the way people live their lives today.
âThe addition of table service enables customers to order at the self-order kiosk and then sit down at a designated zone to get served. From mums coming in with their kids, to people having a working lunch, I expect the feedback to be positive.â
