A police officer who worked across Preston and South Ribble is to face a misconduct hearing.
PC Jayson Lobo of Lancashire Police is to face a disciplinary committee behind closed doors.
PC Lobo is facing the misconduct hearing for allegedly ‘contacting third parties’ with details and images of police incidents, and providing commentaries on those given. This would breach schedule 2 of the Police Conduct Regulations 2012.
Normally, the hearings would be made in public, however a footnote to the linked page adds that the chair of the hearing has refused access to public, press or others interested in it.
PC Lobo operated in the ‘South Division’ of Lancashire, which covers South Ribble, Preston and West Lancashire.
The case is to be heard at the force’s HQ in Hutton on Monday 27 June and Tuesday 28 June.
