Make the most of the sunshine while you can as weather forecasters are predicting a washout for the back end of the week in Preston.
A warning of heavy rain has been issued for Thursday and Friday as the mini spell of warm and sunny weather comes to an end.
The Met Office says an area of low pressure is set to sweep up the UK bringing with it up to 15 to 30mm of rain. Up to 50mm may fall locally by the end of Thursday.
Friday is set to see downpours across the North West and a warning of surface water flooding has been issued. Up to 15-25mm could fall in a few hours during Friday afternoon thunderstorms.
