Kendal Calling 2015 returns this weekend, kicking off on Thursday July 30 ready to welcome its faithful Preston crowd.

Against the stunning Lake District setting, the festival has grown in popularity and size over it’s ten year history and is a favourite among Prestonians for its location and portrayal of home-grown talent.

Action Records in the city centre has been selling tickets for this year’s festival as Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs and The Vaccines prepare to headline the weekend of August 1 and 2.

Among the line-up are favourites at The Ferret:  Cactus Knife, Lancashire Hotpots, Demob Happy, Lake Komo, Gideon Conn, The Watchmakers and Lucid Dream.

The Lancashire Hotpots are no strangers to Kendal Calling, playing favorites including Chippy Tea to the crowds many times before.

Also among the long list to play last year were Evil Blizzard, Joe McCorriston, Alex Hulme and Newman College success story, Rae Morris.
