A North West charity are holding a family fun day early next month.
Originally a child care agency, Caritas Care aims to make lives better for groups and communities including adoption and fostering, older people and people with disabilities.
The aim of the fun day is to raise money for a project supported people with complex learning disabilities and by displaying unique alternatives to the traditional services that are on offer.
The event is open to everyone, with a bouncy castle, cake stall and face painting guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained. A sponsored bike ride will also be taking place around the guild wheel.
Baffito’s, on Navigation Way at Preston docks, will host the event between 11am and 3pm on Saturday August 1.
Caritas Care was established in 1934 and have branches across the North West. They have developed the services they offer since their early beginnings.
