Part of a former supermarket offices could be renovated to make way for a new restaurant, shop and flats complex in the city centre.
AdvertisementDavid Cox Architects have tabled plans for a major renovation of 35 Glovers Court which would see 30 apartments created.
A major extension to the buildings would also be added to increase the height of the building from four storeys to seven.
It would be situated next door to Browns the R&B club has hosted the Westwood, Trevor Nelson, Kano and Spoony plus many more.
Artist impressions show the scale of the development which would sit incorporating the iconic Booths clock and bridge.
Plans are now being consulted on and the full-scale plans can be viewed on the Preston City Council website.
