Lancashire Science Festival returns to Preston at the end of June for an action packed event looking into all things science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

UCLan will host the event for the fourth time on June 27 and tickets can be purchased here which provide access to drop-in sessions ranging from tracing dinosaur tracks to performances from a science rock band, Being 747.

Last year saw the festival opened by the internationally recognised robot, Titan, to hundreds of students from around the region.

A skills zone and a hands-on activity workshop will also feature throughout the day, with the event featuring something for everybody to enjoy.

The event begins at 9am and will run through until 5pm.
