Health workers across the country held a four hour strike this morning (October 13).
As with much of the rest of the country, the strikes in Preston took place between 7-11am.
The strikes were held to protest the lack of a pay rise for NHS staff. Many workers in the NHS did not receive even a 1% increase.
Staff from Royal Preston Hospital were taking part, as well as those from Chorley and South Ribble Hospital.
It is reported that were was minimal disruption to patients during the strikes.
Where do you stand on the NHS strikes? Let us know.
