Hundreds of local teenagers have shown what a positive difference they make to the city.

Preston young people have been on the Flag Market during Saturday and Sunday as part of the Make Your Mark days.

Across the country thousands of 16 and 17 year olds are taking part in National Citizen Service.

Those in Preston have gathered on the Flag Market to compete on creating a project which benefits Preston in some way.

All the teams involved went through to a Dragons Den style pitch to access a budget of £80.

You can find out more about the National Citizen Service on their website.
