The heavy rain left Avenham Park with a new water feature

The midweek storms may seem a faded memory now, but it’s one which will stick in the mind of one Prestonian.

Holly Hamer was on her way to pick up her daughter when she was faced with a mini waterfall in Avenham Park.

Lightning was crackling overhead according to Holly who became caught up in the storm.
