If you like poetry based in Preston you will like the work of Lorna Smithers.

Lorna is poet and lives in Penwortham. Her work is inspired by the history of the local area and landscapes. She is also interested and writes about British mythology, folk and Faerie lore.

A regular performer at festivals and literary events, she also lead walks, give talks and run creative writing workshops. You may have seen her at Korova Arts and Cafe Bar, The Continental or the recent Penwortham Live event.

Lorna was up on top of Preston Bus Station last weekend watching the Solstice Sunset.

She was moved to put her experience into writing as Solstice Sun Down from Preston Bus Station.
