Fire crews attend car blaze at Lea garages

Preston fire crews have put put a blazing car in Lea.

A car in a block of garages on Nelson Crescent caught fire at 6.13pm on Saturday evening.

The vehicle was completely destroyed and one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus were used by crews.

The roof of the garage the car was in has been destroted and there is smoke damage to five other garagdes in the block.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue hvae not confirmed a cause of the blaze.
