Heathcotes Brasserie in Preston has listed a series of exclusive wine and food events to be held on the first Wednesday of every month.

Your chance to experience an array of brilliant wines with guest speakers and wonderful food.

The line up looks really exciting and is certainly something new for Preston City Centre

On 6 February it’s Cheese and Wine from The Street.

Cheese maker Sean Wilson (ex-Coronation Street star mentioned previously in the Blog) will provide entertainment with cheese and wine. Chef Paul Heathcote and Sean will work together to create the most unusual of grape varieties to match award-winning Saddleworth Cheeses, which will be incorporated into a four course gourmet dinner especially created by Paul for the evening. £55.

“Expect Lancashire delicacies and worldwide wines in the heart of Preston, and a few cheesy soap anecdotes.”

Upcoming wine events will feature Gerrard Basset, for many years the world’s best sommelier and Susy Atkins of the Telegraph, an award-winning wine writer and broadcaster.
