Internation artist Lubaina Himid at the Preston Guild 2012 festival

Lubaina Himid MBE, Professor of Contemporary Art at the University of Central Lancashire signs copies of her Moments that Matter: Trophy Cups artwork posters at the Preston Guild in Miller Park.

The Moments that Matter contemporary exhibition of paintings is displayed at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery in Preston from Friday 31 August to 12 October 2012 and complemented by a series of photographs of the paintings displayed on large banners in empty shop windows across the city of Preston from Friday 31st August to Sunday 9 September 2012. There is also an online archive for the project at www.nwfor2012.com
