A new website aiming to help people decide where to eat in Lancashire has launched, run by a husband and wife team from Fulwood.
North’n Exposure took over the Fusion Room on Friargate last month to show local restauranters how it will help their businesses.
Co-owner, Shelley Redfern, said: “The idea behind the launch was to bring
together Lancashire businesses from the food and drink industry so that they could meet and exchange ideas.
“We used the event to introduce the services which North’n Exposure is offering to support local businesses whilst giving the public a go-to website service for all their dining arrangements.”
The website will feature reviews by diners as well as giving special offers and discounts for restaurants in Preston and beyond.
31-year-old Mrs Redfern said: “We are looking to expand our services as we offer an eating-in section where you will be able to find recipes and suppliers of local produce for that perfect dinner party.”
North’n Exposure is run in conjunction with her husband, Gareth Redfern, 33, and he says the inspiration came to them one night during a meal out.
He said: “We came up with the idea 12 months ago whilst having a meal out, Lancashire has so many fantastic hidden pubs, restaurants, and local produce shops. Shelley would always be searching the Internet to find new places to eat out and visit. We thought it would be great to have a “go to” website which would show people what Lancashire has to offer.”
