As briefly summarised in my earlier post, RightMovePlaces is a website where people can give a flavour of the area in which they live through photos, summaries of their opinions on the area and vote on what they think the best and worst aspects are.
In the next few days Blog Preston will also have an RSS feed that goes directly into the Preston section of the RightMovePlaces site, meaning that Blog Preston’s news and information will be right alongside Preston residents’ recommendations.
As you can see, the Preston section of the website is looking a little bare. We’re encouraging you to sign up and start making it look a bit more attractive to anyone thinking about moving here. You can also add your own reviews of anything in Preston, including the schools, nightlife, and whether you think the town has character and personality. Also included (as shown below) is a Preston Notice Board.
You can argue over where you think the best place for nightlife is, whether you think Preston could do with some more unique shops or if property is affordable or not in the city. We’ve just posted a link to Blog Preston on it, but if more users sign up it could become a nice community noticeboard for anything going on in Preston.
Sign up, let us know how you get on, and hopefully together we can build a page for Preston that helps show off the great city we live in.
