Here’s another roundup of activities to do this weekend.

1. Phantom of the Opera – Tomorrow The Continental host Lon Chaney’s 1925 masterpiece on their 14ft high definition cinema screen. There’s also a specially created new soundtrack performed live by cult band The Laze. This show recently sold out Liverpool’s FACT venue, so get your tickets as soon as you can!
2. Youth Climbing Festival – Young people between the ages of 7 and 15 of all climbing abilities can take part in the weekend dedicated to climbing at the West View Climbing and Leisure Centre. Held tomorrow and on Sunday, the course costs £25 per person, and you can book your place by visiting the council website.
3. Barrel of Laughs – The Frog & Bucket hold their weekly laughathon, three acts from the national and international circuit, and one of the Frog comperes. Also included is an aftershow disco until 2am playing tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and now. Price is £11/7 conc.
