Preston Guild

Since 1179 the founding fathers of the city have celebrated every 20 years the right of Preston to hold a market.

The Guild has grown over the centuries to become a huge month-long festival with parades, processions and parties across the whole of the city.

Use our Guild section to get under the skin of what’s happening across Preston not just during the Guild month but the whole Guild year and the legacy it will leave.
