The 21st December is the Longest Night of the year and as darkness falls on that day Penwortham Bridge Methodist Church, Leyland Road PR19XR will be ready to welcome you. The church foyer space will be open and serving warm drinks from 4pm until 7pm. This will be a safe and welcoming space for all, especially if this is a challenging time of year for you. There will be candles available to light in the church and in the garden in memory of someone or you may just want to light a candle for yourself as a prayer. Come and join us, stay as long as you like or just pop in. (Parking is available at the side and the rear of the church building)
