A weekend of fundraising activities, stalls from local community organisations, creative businesses and support services, and live music.
The bank holiday weekend kicks off at 1pm on the 24th and finishes on the 25th at 5pm. Activities include tug of war, sports day challenges, football skills competitions, jiu-jitsu demonstrations, treasure hunts, tombola, raffle, and mini-games.
We have a whole host of prizes to give away that include free day passes for Total Fitness, a free haircut at Spires Barbers, an MOT and service worth £220 from Springfield Motors, Kraken and San Miguel branded deckchairs, and a large umbrella.
The fundraising weekend will raise money for three incredible causes that make a real difference in people's lives: Macmillan Cancer Support, the Mary O'Gara Foundation, and The Walnut Group Preston.
Macmillan provides vital care and support to those affected by cancer, ensuring that no one faces it alone.
The Mary O’Gara Foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention in young people through awareness, education & training. Find out more at www.marysstory.org.uk.
The Walnut Group Preston plays a crucial role in offering peer support and resources to men battling cancer.
By coming together this weekend, we can help these organisations continue their life-changing work.
