SHOP Preston to host third Heritage Open Day at No. 3 Syke Street.
SHOP will be open to the people of Preston to animate the story and history of our iconic little building. Well known amongst Prestonians as the former Charity Shop Rwanda - from which we take our name.
This year our event is going to be better than ever before as we have collaborated with a wonderful group of 18-25's as part of New Wave, funded by HOD and National Trust, to deliver a fantastic, self-guided walking tour of Preston. Covering some horrible histories and amazing, but difficult to spot street art!
We have walking tour guides here at SHOP along with an interactive exhibition from the young collaborators who have responded to each point on the route. You can also follow along on the GoJauntly app if you'd prefer.
Come down on the 7th or 14th September from 11am - 3pm to chat heritage and see the installation!
Help us continue to make a difference for as many people as possible when it comes to accessing arts, culture and events in the city.
