"Princess Ida, or Castle Adamant" is a three-act operetta in English, from the celebrated Victorian show creators, William Gilbert (words) and Arthur Sullivan (music). Princess Ida is an ardent feminist who runs her own women's university – what on earth could persuade her to go through with marrying the lovelorn Prince Hilarion, to whom she was bethrothed as an infant? "Princess Ida" is a rarely-performed operatic gem - requiring as it does a large cast - making this a production not to be missed!
