We are thrilled to celebrate VE Day this year with our honorary Preston Lady, Milena Grenfell-Baines MBE.
At Friends of Edith Rigby, we are inspired by the stories of remarkable women and are proud to be hosting this joint event with Central Methodist Church.

To avoid extra costs, we’re using a free ticket platform so you can reserve your place in advance and ensure the event doesn’t sell out. We kindly ask for a £5 donation on the door—payable by cash or card—to confirm your reservation.

If you’d like to come by early, doors open at 6pm, though the church will be running events from 10am if you fancy making a day of it.
