The polls for the Lancashire County Council local elections have closed and the different areas of the county have now decided on their new representatives at county level.
Counts take place across Lancashire throughout Friday – with no counts overnight – but a clear picture likely to emerge across the afternoon.
The story of the election has been the emergence of what is likely to be a four-way battle between the Conservatives, Labour, Reform UK and the Lib Dems in many seats.
Local results by area: Preston | South Ribble | Chorley | Wyre | Ribble Valley | Lancaster | Hyndburn | Pendle | Fylde | West Lancashire | Rossendale | Burnley
But the Green Party will be confident of adding to their tally of two seats in at least some parts of the county.
