Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams star Adnan Miakhel has made his debut for Lancashire’s 2nd XI.
Miakhel, 19, a refugee from Afghanistan, became a viewer favourite after joining Flintoff’s Preston-based team in the reality series.
He starred in the recent Flintoff documentary Field of Dreams and was the teenage Afghan refugee who arrived in the UK on the back of a lorry in 2021 and, with limited formal cricket training, became the star bowler when former England captain Andrew Flintoff cobbled together a team of disadvantaged boys in Preston.

He played for the under-18s last season and lined up against a strong Yorkshire second string at Northern CC in Crosby on Tuesday April 29.
He made 25 not out batting at number 10 in the first innings of a friendly between the Roses rivals, against an attack featuring the likes of Matt Revis, Matt Milnes and Jafer Chohan.
In Yorkshire’s innings, the left-arm seam bowler took the wicket of the regular first-team player Jonathan Tattersall, caught behind down the leg side.
