An urgent search continues with police trying to locate missing homeless person Thomas Netherton.
Thomas, who also uses the names ‘Big Nev’, ‘Nev’ and ‘James Netherton, was last seen at Blackburn Market on 26 March and reported missing on 4 April.
There has since been a potential sighting at Preston Railway Station this week.

A spokesperson for police said: “We are continuing to carry out numerous enquiries to try to find Thomas and we would continue to appeal for anyone who sees him or knows where he may be to get in touch.
“Thomas is 5ft 9, slim with short dark hair and a goatee beard. He doesn’t have any teeth and has scarring to his hands.
“Thomas was last seen wearing a green Regatta jacket, navy blue jogging bottoms and navy-blue Nike trainers.”
If you see Thomas, police ask that you call 999 as soon as possible. For non-immediate sightings call 101, quoting log 473 of 4th April 2025.
