TikTok sensations the SpudBros plan to upgrade their potato hotspot at Preston’s Flag Market.
Their plan is to put two container units together to serve their sought after jacket potatoes. They will still be located at the Flag Market in Preston city centre.
Father of the SpudBros, Tony Nelson has spoken about the plans they have to expand on their current jacket potato hot-spot.

He told Blog Preston: “Blackpool has got Blackpool Tower and we’ve got the Wallace and Gromit statue but we want to create something else, something different.
“For us, it’s about celebrating everything Preston is iconic for but also trying to bring the city centre into the modern day era and we happen to sell potatoes out of it.
“The plan is to do some really quirky stuff with it as well, we plan to grow potatoes on the roof to create a little bit more of a buzz as well as being more eco-friendly and be more sustainable.
“The lads have brought fresh energy and have brought people all over the world to the city and I think this is just embracing that and taking it on a step further and trying to encourage people to come here and see what we’re all about.”
The SpudBros plan to get local artist Shawn Sharpe to design their mural to go on the back of the containers.
Tony said: “It’s depicting everything Preston and Prestonians are iconic for celebrating the football, Wallace and Gromit, parched peas and the Flag Market.
“On one of the sides, facing the cenotaph we’re going to have a tribute to the fallen heroes. It’s going to be tastefully done so hopefully that can show the SpudBros are considering the past and considering the Cenotaph.”
They want to use the mural to attract more people and provide the photo opportunities to show off what Preston is all about.
