This Easter holidays, the cinemas in Preston are jumping on the bandwagon and putting on a series of special shows to ensure the whole family has a range of films to choose from to make the break that much more exciting.
From festivals, extra sweet treats, and special showings, there is a lot on offer this Easter break.
Kicking things off, The Arc Cinema will be celebrating the half-term with a specially discounted Disney Film Festival. For just £5 per ticket, The Arc will put on a new Disney live-action remake each Friday leading up to the release of Lilo & Stitch. This festival will continue beyond the Easter break and marks a great way for Disney kids and adults to come together and celebrate some classic films in style.

The Arc also has a special offer, which will continue throughout the Easter break, for anyone who purchases a large popcorn, providing M&M toppers at no extra charge.
In addition, The Arc Cinema also has their Kids Club offer, which means that every morning during school holidays, family friendly kids films will be on offer for just £2.95 per ticket.

While it appears that there aren’t any special offers in place at The Flower Bowl or the Odeon, both cinemas will be putting on plenty of screenings of family friendly films. Both cinemas will be showing A Minecraft Movie, and the Sylvanian Families – The Movie, which are both new in cinemas from Friday 4 April.
Throughout the Easter holidays, both theatres will also have multiple listings suitable for kids and grown-ups.

And finally, last, but certainly not least, Vue is also putting on some special showings to mark the half-term. Just like the other screens in Preston, the brand-new A Minecraft Movie will feature prominently in their listings over the holiday.
Likewise, the live-action Snow White, which just came out in late March will also be playing throughout the break.

And to make the holidays that little bit more special, Vue’s Mighty Mornings mean cheaper cinema tickets every day from just £2.49 when booked online. As part of these Mighty Mornings, films like Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Moana 2, and Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit will all return to the cinema throughout the break.
Graham Royston, General Manager at Vue Preston, said: “A trip to Vue this Easter break is the perfect opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the magic of their favourite big screen characters. More than just entertainment, it’s a chance for children and parents to switch off, connect, and create lasting memories together.”
