As the Easter break continues, we have several brand new films hitting cinemas all over Preston. This includes Death of a Unicorn, a dark comedy starring Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd. The Amateur stars Rami Malek in a thrilling action story about a CIA agent who begins fieldwork, and finally Drop is a tense thriller about a woman on a first date who begins to receive odd messages via Airdrop.

Flow won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film over competitive entries like Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, from Preston’s own Nick Park. The film features a beautiful stylistic animated style and is free from any human speech. Instead, it features a wide variety of real animal sounds. An engaging watch for the entire family to enjoy.
Restless

Restless was brand-new in cinemas from Friday 4 April, though The Arc is the only local cinema to have it in their rotation. A dark comedy drama film from writer-director Jed Hart, in his feature directorial debut, the film shows a lot of promise. Having played at film festivals around the country and Europe, it has now made its way to limited theatres.
One to One: John & Yoko

Exploring the love and life of John Lennon and his partner Yoko Ono. The documentary film takes a closer look at a period in their lives just ahead of a charity concert. This film is a must watch for fans of the iconic former The Beatles star.

The live-action Disney remake starring Emma Watson is back at the cinema in The Arc as part of their Disney Celebration Festival, which runs throughout the Easter break and beyond.

The Chosen is an American television series depicting the life of Jesus Christ. The Chosen: Last Supper depicts the fifth season of the show, and Part 1 includes the first and second episodes of this season. At present, there are no plans to put Part 2 and Part 3, which contain the rest of the season 5 episodes, on the big screen, but Part 1 is set to kick off the season on the big screen as an event screening. The story of Part 1 is primarily concerned with Jesus entering Jerusalem and seeing the temple in disarray as a market.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up in the buddy cop film that started it all. Bad Boys is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, and Vue is marking the occasion with a special screening coming this Wednesday.
A Real Pain

The Arc is continuing its run of Silver Screen films with A Real Pain this Thursday. The film stars Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg in a wonderful, introspective hit that explores pain, grief, and connection. The film is not to be missed, and this screening is sure to be a special one for all those in attendance.
