A beloved husband, devoted father and much-missed Royal Mail stalwart is to be remembered.
Nicolas ‘Nick’ Davidson died, aged just 42, after being diagnosed with bowel cancer.
His family described his ‘short but brave battle’ with cancer, after being given a stage-four diagnosis just after Christmas.

Nick passed away at St Catherine’s Hospice on 24 March surrounded by his family.
The Penwortham-based family man worked at the city’s Christian Road Royal Mail depot as a delivery office manager.
Described as a ‘well respected colleague and friend to many’ the funeral procession for Nick will see up to 40 Royal Mail vans drive in convoy.
They will meet at the Pittman Way depot in Fulwood on Tuesday lunchtime before joining the funeral procession to Preston Crematorium for the service at 12.45pm on Tuesday (22 April).
Nick’s family is asking everyone to dress smart for the funeral in dark clothing with a ‘bit of red if they are able to’.

Nick leaves behind his wife Lizz, children Jack, Charlie and Jessica, his mother Cora and his siblings Shaun, Neil, Martin and Meghan.
