Ribbleton man and Preston teenager in court over knife and drugs charges after Ashton-on-Ribble arrests

A Ribbleton man and a Preston teenager have appeared in court facing drug dealing and knife charges.

Preston Police were called to Inkerman Street in Ashton-on-Ribble during Wednesday 16 April.

It followed reports of people being seen with weapons inside a property.

Phillip Bolan, 18, of Ribbleton and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were both charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

They were also charged with possession of a Class A drug, cocaine, with intent to supply.

The pair appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 19 April and will go to Preston Crown Court on Wednesday 21 May.
