A Ribbleton-based hair and beauty salon team are aiming to show their support for two customers who have been undergoing cancer treatment.
The Hamilton Hair and Beauty Salon hopes to raise funds for Cancer Research, through a series of races.
Alisha Hamilton, the owner of the Ribbleton-based salon, and both her clients and colleagues are to take on Pretty Muddy, a 5km run and obstacle course at Moor Park, in June.

This is in support of the charity and two of her clients who have been directly affected by cancer in the past year.
Alisha said: “Janet Buck, who has now had all clear after finishing her treatment and Laura Manenti who has been recently diagnosed with a stage four brain tumour and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.”
“Laura, a young mother of two girls, has everything to fight for, and hopefully, by us all signing up and raising money for a great cause, we can show them both exactly how much everyone loves and supports them.”

Alisha has already raised over £1,400 and is set to host a charity raffle to reach their £3,700 goal.
With four prizes worth £100 each in the raffle, Alisha is seeking local businesses to support her towards the campaign.
