Porsche Centre Preston has renewed its partnership with nine-year-old go-kart racer Jayan Prakash.
This extension by the Ashton-On-Ribble centre is in anticipation of Jayan’s upcoming season in the Cadet Class.
The partnership will again feature on Jayan’s race suit and kart and will provide essential backing as he progresses in his racing career.

In the past, the nine-year-old, from Cottam, has secured six podium finishes including two back-to-back victories and his first at National level.
Tom Fox, Managing Director of Porsche Centre Preston, said: “Jayan’s talent and determination are clear to see. He’s racing against older, more experienced drivers and holding his own—that’s impressive at any age.
“We’re proud to continue supporting him as he takes the next step in his journey, and we look forward to seeing what he achieves this season.”
At just nine years old, Jayan frequently reaches speeds of over 60mph against older competing drivers.
He now races in the British Kart Championships and hopes to become a professional racing driver one day.
Jayan will also compete in two other National championships including the Cadet Kart Championship and the Superone series.
Team Boss Paul Janes said: “Jayan has been hitting every target set for him ahead of schedule and is performing significantly ahead of expectations. He is working hard on and off the track and is seeing the rewards“.
