A new coffee spot has opened by Haslam Park in Ashton-on-Ribble.
Brew Crew is located in the back yard of Heavenly Hair and Beauty in Blackpool Road.
Accessed from Bristow Avenue, Brew Crew specialises in coffee, homemade bakes and ice cream. The aim is to make the spot a go-to stop for dog walkers, runners, families, and anyone else passing through the park.
The salon’s owner Maria Nizinkiewicz decided to open to make the most of the space and create another new addition to the Lane Ends area’s growing selection of bars and restaurants.

Maria has been preparing for the launch since January, sourcing equipment and getting the all-important health and safety standards in place.
âThere was a lot to it – more than I thought it would be,â Maria told Blog Preston.
Maria says the team is âfinding their feet,â but there’s already talk of community events. A run club started on Sunday – look out for details on Blog Preston soon – and there’s a parent and baby club in the works.
While she wonât be behind the counter herself, Maria has put steps in place to keep customers topped up with refreshments.
“It’s great coffee and we’ve got real skilled baristas. Our goodies are coming from Leahâs Bakehouse, a home bakery in Fulwood that will be supplying us fresh every week. We hope people will visit us and support local.”
