MedCare additionally operates as an online pharmacy, giving patients the flexibility to order private prescriptions to be delivered to their door.
The opening day consisted of free private health consultations, an exclusive first look at the clinic and pharmacy and a meet and greet with healthcare professionals.
Superintendent pharmacist Shahid Aziz said: “Our goal at MedCare Health Clinic & Pharmacy is to make healthcare more accessible, whether that’s through face-to-face consultations in our clinic or convenient online services – we’re here to support patients with safe, timely, and trusted care.”
The clinic, a private practice led by pharmacist prescribers, has an emphasis on making healthcare easier and more accessible.
Their health services include dermatology help, weight loss help and both men and women health treatments.
Speaking at the event, the mayor, Phil Crowe, said: “It’s my pleasure to attend MedCare’s official opening, and I wish MedCare Pharmacy every success within Preston and beyond.”
