Man arrested in Preston city centre after knife and drugs found

A man has been arrested after police found a lock knife and class A drugs on him in Preston city centre.

Preston Police stopped a man in Guildhall Street around 8pm on Thursday 3 April.

A lock knife and 15 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine were found.

The 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife, having a bladed article in public and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
