The sun decided to make an appearance towards the end of Preston’s annual Egg Rolling.
Despite the damp conditions the free event – which attracts more than 20,000 visitors each year – saw big crowds come to roll their eggs, and themselves, down the slopes of Avenham Park.
Alongside the egg rolling there was food and drink from around the world including the SpudBros Feastables spud tram relocating from the Flag Market for the day.

Live music, Easter bonnet making and live theatre performances brightened spirits amid the steady rain that stayed for most of the day.
Michael Porter from the Preston Photographic Society was there, as usual, to capture some fantastic family fun pictures during the Easter Monday Bank Holiday.
