A local pub has re-opened after a three week refurbishment.

The Sherwood Pub in Fulwood is now described as having a “brighter and modern aesthetic.”

Owned by Sizzling Pubs, the pub now displays a refreshed bar, updated soft furnishings and an extended beer garden.

The opening will also bring a new menu including crispy sweet chilli chicken, pork tomahawk and a caramelised waffle.

Offers will continue to take place with the Monday club bringing selected beers down to £2.75 and two main dishes down to £12.00.

Commenting on the brand-new look, manager Mandy Biggs said: “We’re excited to unveil the Sherwood’s fresh new look!

“Whether you’re planning a meal with family and friends or catching the local derby with a pint in hand, our pub is ready to welcome guests both familiar faces and first timers alike to enjoy our new look, all while keeping the same signature sizzle you’ve come to know and love.”

The Fulwood-based pub, prides itself in its regular showing of live sports, popular weekly pub quizzes and monthly live entertainment. It is also accommodating to dogs.
