The father of a teenager who died on the M6 during Easter Sunday has been charged with causing his death.
14-year-old Ryan Liam Morgan died when the van he was in, driven by his father, crashed off the motorway and hit a tree.
Lancashire Police confirmed during Sunday (27 April) they had now charged Daniel Burba, 31, of Arnside Crescent, Morecambe, in connection with the crash which took place between Junction 34 to Junction 33 of the motorway on the southbound side.

Burba was taken to hospital following the crash with serious injuries and has now been discharged.
He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving whilst unlicensed and uninsured.
Police said: “Our thoughts remain with Ryan’s loved ones at this difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained officers.”
Emotional tributes to Ryan were released by his mother and other members of the family in the wake of the crash which took place at 12.15pm on Easter Sunday and closed the motorway for around 10 hours.
Burba will appear at Lancaster Magistrates’ Court at 10am on Monday 28 April.
Police continue to appeal for witnesses, information and dashcam footage of the crash.
