A crash between a car and a van is causing delays close to the centre of Longridge.

Lancashire Constabulary officers are at the scene of the crash on Dilworth Lane, close to the junction with Higher Road and King Street.

The crash is between a car and a van. At least one of the vehicles has sustained quite heavy damage. Blog Preston has contacted Lancashire Constabulary for further details regarding the incident.

There are delays in the area as a result with queueing traffic on King Street and Market Place while emergency services work to resolve the incident.

The incident happened some time shortly before 5.25pm this afternoon (17 April).
