A ‘problem address’ in Ashton-on-Ribble has been closed down by police.
Preston Police say a number of incidents involving anti-social behaviour at a property near to Preston Docks saw them apply for a Section 80 order.
Preston Magistrates’ Court granted the order on 27 March and the closure of the property in Lockside Road – although no further details have been given about the property itself – is in force until June.

Sergeant Weronika Wallis from Preston’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We welcome the result of this closure order that was causing concern in the local community.
“This behaviour won’t be tolerated, and this action demonstrates that we will take the appropriate action to safeguard people and deal with criminality.”
Blog Preston contacted police for further information about the property and whether any arrests had been made – but received no response by the time of publication.
