Sessions to get the publicās thoughts on the proposed sites for new hospitals in Preston and Lancaster have been cancelled.
This follows the government announcement last month that the building of the two new hospitals would no longer start until 2035 to 2038 and 2037 to 2039 at the earliest.
This includes the event at Cotton Court, Preston, which was scheduled for Saturday 8 March.
Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board say plans for future events will be āannounced in due courseā and they āapologise for any inconvenienceā. The cancellation notice has been issued after Blog Preston understands members of the public still tried to attend previously advertised sessions.
Nine public sessions, which were originally postponed in January, had been planned across the patch during February and March.
