A search is underway for a missing teenager with links to Preston.

Lexie Hurst, 14, is missing from her home in Skelmersdale but is known to have links to Preston, according to police.

She was last seen in the Pennylands area of Skelmersdale at around 11.40am on Monday (17 March).

A spokesperson for police said: “Lexie is described as 5ft 5in tall, with 2 tone hair, the top of the head being brown and the bottom black and of a slim build.

“When she was last seen she was wearing pyjamas and plain black trainers however she may have changed clothing with recent information suggesting she is wearing all black.

“We are now concerned for Lexi’s welfare and are appealing for your help to find her.”
