A road is closed as emergency services deal with the aftermath of an assault outside a Preston primary school.
Police reported at around 6.15am this morning (12 March) that they had close Ribbleton Hall Drive, outside Moor Nook Community Primary School, due to a ‘police incident’.
They warned that the incident meant that the road was likely to be closed for some time.

A spokesperson for police told Blog Preston: “We were called at about 6.15am today (Wednesday, March 12th) to a report of an assault on Ribbleton Hall Drive close to Moor Nook School. Officers attended and a man believed to be in his 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“A man in his 30s from Preston has been arrested and is currently in custody.”
A spokesperson for police said: “We currently have a road closure in place on Ribbleton Hall Drive, Ribbleton. This will extend from Pope Lane to Mitton Drive
“This is due to a Police incident and is likely to be closed for some time. Please find alternative routes when travelling and we will update you once the road has reopened.”
