PNECET’s work focused on 2,267 people from 25 ethnic groups, including 200 refugees welcomed through the Football Welcomes initiative that aims to strengthen community ties.
Tom Drake, CEO of PNECET, said: “Our work matters because it addresses the ever-growing needs of our community.”
“Unveiling the 2024 Impact Report this week was a moment of pride. Enhancing over 17,000 lives and investing a record £1.7 million shows the power of our 2024 – 2027 strategy, #NorthEndTogether.
“We’re more than a charity – we’re a catalyst for change in Preston, and we’re excited for what’s next.”
PNECET is supported by its principal partner FWP, as well as other partners. It does not receive funding from the club and is completely self-funded.
It employs over 50 full-time staff and estimates that it invested £1.7 million in Preston in 2024.
