Preston Docks swing bridge closure confirmed for Wednesday to Friday

The swing bridge at Preston Docks is being closed for its annual lick of paint and oil.
Preston City Council is putting a road closure in place at the bridge in Navigation Way, Ashton-on-Ribble.
The works include surface repairs, electrical and mechanical testing, test swings of the bridge powered by a back-up generator, maintenance and power washing and painting.

The swing bridge closre is from 9am on Wednesday (19 March) through to 3pm on Friday (21 March).
Alternative routes are signposted for drivers to follow.
