Police release update on attack inside Preston city centre pub

Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak to after an attack inside a city centre pub.

Officers were called to Hogarths in Church Street on Monday 3 March to reports a man in his 60s had been attacked in the toilets.

The victim was treated at hospital for cuts to his head and face.

The attack, described as ‘a nasty assault’ by police, took place at 5.20pm.

Anyone with information or who recognises the man in the CCTV image should contact police on 101 quoting log 1008 of March 3 or email 3481@lancashire.police.uk
